Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies help websites remember information about your visit. The same privacy rules can apply whether information is stored in a cookie or another browser storage technology. RockettAI uses them for security, authentication, preferences, optional analytics and optional affiliate attribution.
Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are required for RockettAI to work. They support login sessions, authentication, security, billing flows, dashboard preferences and basic service operation. These cannot be switched off in RockettAI because the platform would not function correctly without them.
Analytics Cookies
If you accept analytics, RockettAI loads Google Analytics and PostHog. They help us understand which pages and product features are useful, where people encounter difficulty and where RockettAI needs improvement. Google Analytics is configured without advertising signals and with IP anonymisation.
PostHog receives explicitly selected product events and general page routes. For signed-in users, RockettAI creates a pseudonymous analytics identifier on our server. We send only the broad account tier and whether the account is organisation-managed. We do not send names, email addresses, school or MAT names, prompts, generated outputs, feedback comments, filenames or pupil information to PostHog.
PostHog session replay is limited to selected public marketing pages. All visible text and form inputs are masked. Images, video, canvas, iframes, console logs, network content and dashboard or tool pages are not recorded. Pages containing URL query parameters are not recorded.
Analytics is optional. RockettAI does not initialise PostHog or load Google Analytics until you accept analytics.
Affiliate Attribution
RockettAI works with approved UK affiliates, such as education creators, bloggers and influencers. If you follow an affiliate link and accept optional cookies, RockettAI stores an opaque random token so we can attribute a later eligible Pro purchase to that affiliate. The affiliate does not receive your name, email address, Stripe details or information about how you use RockettAI.
Affiliate attribution is optional. No affiliate click record or cookie is created before consent. Withdrawing consent removes the browser token and invalidates any unpaid attribution linked to that token. Click records are retained for up to 180 days.

Embedded Media
Some resource pages include a privacy-enhanced YouTube player. The player does not load until you choose to play the video. When you do, YouTube or Google may receive technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
Managing Preferences
You can accept or reject optional analytics and affiliate attribution in RockettAI. You can also change your choice at any time. Withdrawal stops future collection, clears identifiers that RockettAI can remove from your browser and invalidates any unpaid affiliate attribution linked to the browser token. It does not automatically erase records that RockettAI must retain. You can contact us through the Privacy Policy if you want to exercise a data protection right.
Browser Controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, dashboard features, checkout or saved preferences from working properly.
