These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the RockettAI website and associated services. By using RockettAI, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Membership and Access
1.1 Membership Eligibility: To access and use our AI tools, you must be a registered member. By becoming a member, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
1.2 Account Creation: When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.
1.3 Subscription Plans: RockettAI offers various subscription plans, each with specific features and benefits. Details including pricing, billing cycles and payment methods are provided on our website.
1.4 Payment and Billing: By subscribing to our services, you authorise RockettAI to charge the applicable subscription fees to your chosen payment method at the beginning of each billing cycle. You agree to maintain valid payment information and understand that subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
1.5 Gift Memberships: A RockettAI gift membership is a one-off purchase that provides the named recipient with 12 months of individual Pro access from the date of redemption. Gift memberships do not renew automatically and the recipient is not asked to provide payment details when redeeming one.
1.6 Gift Delivery and Redemption: The purchaser is responsible for providing an accurate recipient name and email address. Gift codes are single-use, are restricted to the intended recipient email and must be redeemed within 24 months of purchase. If the recipient already has paid, school or MAT access, the gift remains unredeemed and the recipient should contact RockettAI so that it can be applied without overlapping existing access.
1.7 Gift Restrictions and Refunds: Gift memberships have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash and must not be resold. A refund makes an unredeemed gift code invalid. Where a gift has already been redeemed, any refund request will be considered in light of the access already provided and the purchaser’s statutory rights. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1.8 Referral Programme: Authenticated RockettAI users may receive a personal referral code and link. A new individual Pro customer who uses an eligible code receives 20% off their first paid billing period. The subscription then renews at the standard price unless it is cancelled. Referral discounts do not apply to school, MAT or gift purchases and cannot be combined with a trial or another discount.
1.9 Referral Credit: The referring user receives £5 RockettAI credit only after the referred subscription has remained paid and active for 30 days. Credit is applied to a future subscription that the referring user personally purchases and cannot be applied to a school or MAT bill. A maximum of 10 rewards may be earned in any rolling 12-month period. Credit has no cash value, cannot be exchanged or resold and may be held until the referring user has an eligible Stripe customer account.
1.10 Referral Restrictions: Self-referrals, duplicate or false accounts, misleading promotion and attempts to circumvent programme limits are prohibited. Refunded, disputed, fraudulent or inactive subscriptions do not qualify. RockettAI may withhold or reverse associated credit, including by applying an equal debit to a future bill. We may change or close the programme for future referrals, but will not remove valid credit already earned except where these terms permit reversal.
1.11 Referral Privacy: RockettAI displays the user’s own referral code and link but does not ask for a prospective recipient’s contact details, prepare messages for the user or send referral emails, texts or social messages on the user’s behalf. Users decide independently whether and how to make another person aware of their code. Any public endorsement or promotional post must make the referral incentive clear where required by advertising rules.
2. Intellectual Property
2.1 Ownership: RockettAI retains all rights, titles and interests in and to the services, including all intellectual property rights. The content, software, design and other materials provided through the services are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
2.2 Licence: Subject to your compliance with these terms, RockettAI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the services for your personal or educational purposes. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, or reverse engineer any part of the services without prior written permission.
2.3 User-Generated Content: By submitting feedback, comments or suggestions to RockettAI, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display that content for the purpose of providing and promoting the services.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
3.1 General Disclaimer: RockettAI provides the services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability or suitability of the services for your specific needs. Your use of the services is at your own risk.
3.2 Third-Party Content: RockettAI may include links to third-party websites or content. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for their accuracy, legality or appropriateness.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 Exclusion of Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RockettAI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the services.
4.2 Liability Cap: In no event shall RockettAI’s total liability for all claims arising under or in connection with these terms exceed the total amount paid by you for the services in the twelve months preceding the claim.
5. Termination
5.1 Termination by You: You may cancel your subscription at any time by following the instructions provided on our website. Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
5.2 Termination by RockettAI: RockettAI reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the services at any time and for any reason, including suspected fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity.
6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
6.1 Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
6.2 Disputes: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United Kingdom.
6.3 Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these terms may be referred to arbitration in London, United Kingdom, in English. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.
7. Modifications to the Agreement
7.1 Updates: RockettAI reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on our website.
7.2 Notice of Changes: We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes by email or through prominent notice on our website.
8. AI Accuracy and Limitations
8.1 Accuracy of AI Algorithms: While we strive to ensure the accuracy of AI-generated content, recommendations and insights, AI outputs may not always be fully accurate, complete or error-free.
8.2 Reliance on Human Expertise: RockettAI is designed to complement and enhance the expertise of educators, not replace professional judgment, critical thinking or review.
8.3 Data Influence on Accuracy: The performance of AI systems depends in part on the quality and diversity of underlying data. Biases or limitations in that data can affect outputs.
8.4 Limitations of AI Technology: AI may struggle with context, subjective judgment, cultural nuance or unfamiliar scenarios. Users should review and validate outputs before use.
8.5 Continuous Improvement: RockettAI continues to refine its algorithms, platform performance and user experience. Feedback is welcomed as part of that process.
8.6 Indemnification: By using RockettAI, users agree to indemnify and hold RockettAI, its affiliates and partners harmless from claims, damages, losses or liabilities arising from the use of or reliance on AI-generated outputs.
9. Privacy-Conscious and Acceptable Use
9.1 GDPR Safe Mode: RockettAI uses automated controls to detect and mask likely personal identifiers before text is sent for external AI processing. These controls support GDPR-conscious use but can produce false positives or false negatives and do not guarantee GDPR compliance.
9.2 Data minimisation: Users must enter only the information reasonably needed for the educational task, follow their school or MAT data protection and safeguarding policies, and avoid unnecessary safeguarding details, medical information or other special-category data.
9.3 Images and visual identifiers: Text masking does not hide faces, handwriting, school logos, uniforms, badges, visible addresses or other identifying details inside images. Users are responsible for checking images and ensuring that they have an appropriate basis and permission before uploading them.
